A Vicar buried in chancel of St Nicholas at Wade

Appointed vicar of St Marys Sandwich 12 April 1616

Recorded in the Sandwich Books of Orphans as a guardian 1616.

He shared in the Brooke inheritance by deed 14 Feb 1606-7. Mentioned in Brother Vincents will 1 Sept 1603

Arthur Hougham has him as son of Richard and Fellicity Denne

      MHP writes about Stephens Children:-
"Some of the names and dates given here are exactly the same as those given to children of Stephen and Joan Beake. I am entering as arranged by Arthur Hougham, including refs he sent. In the will he mentions "wife Mercy, son John, daughter susan, brother Edward and friend Thomas Paramour"

There seems to be some difference in the research by Marian Pratt, Arthour Hougham and Achievements regarding this family, further work needs to be done. (note Sept 2006 - following work done by Margaret Slade, a revision has take place and a reallocation of children made. Not sure it is still 100% though -RY)

Does this note relate to this Stephen?
