    • Harry F. FRENCH Harry F. French, a long time resident of Washington passed away on February 26, 2012. Harry, who went by the name Tucker, was born in Georgetown on August 25, 1921. He attended Foster High School and Seattle University. When war broke out Tucker enlisted in the Army Air Corp (now Air Force) in 1945 and was a gunner on a B-17. Once honorably discharged he joined the Seattle Police Dept. and served 24 years. After retirement from the Police Dept, he became an officer for the Washington State Gambling Commission. Nine years later, and after a second retirement, he and his wife of 50 years, Carolyn moved to Port Orchard. Tucker suffered a heart attack while living in Port Orchard that forced him and Carolyn to move to assisted living in Federal Way. Carolyn passed away in 1999 and Tucker stayed in Federal way until his passing. He was an up-standing man, who could always be counted on to do the right thing. Tucker is survived by his son Terry and his wife Jeannine and two granddaughters Jamie and Michelle. He will be greatly missed. Please sign the guest book at - See more at:
