    • TESCH ~ Stacey Lea Tesch (McConnell) was born on a beautiful fall day in November 1969. She passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at the Battlefords Union Hospital at the age of 42. Stacey will be sadly missed by all who loved her so dearly. Her husband Larry, two children: Amanda and Jordan, mother Georgia (George) Hougham, father Larry McConnell (Valli Cleal), sister Cathy (Dave) Saunders and Ashley & Morgan, brother Jeff (Leeann) McConnell and Meghan, Lochlann & Courtney, sister in law Kathleen Tesch (Gilbert Baillargeon) and Gage, and numerous other relatives. The funeral service for Stacey was conducted from the Livelong Community Hall, in Livelong, Saskatchewan on Monday, August 20, 2012 with Pastor Dan Gies officiating. The Eulogy was presented by her childhood friend Dan Knisley of Saskatoon. Music and a nostalgic slideshow were provided by nieces Ashley and Morgan Saunders, and sister in law Leeann McConnell. The Hymn sung was “In The Garden”, a family favorite, accompanied by organist Judy Gies. Dan Knisley recited the poem “ When Tomorrow Starts Without Me” by David M. Romano. A quote from Henry Riplinger, a Saskatchewan author, reflected on remembering Stacey: “When people come to the end of their lives they will be judged by who they were and how well they have lived. People won’t be remembered and revered for their material success, but by the amount of love they have given to others. Acts and words that touched the hearts are never forgotten.” Stacey was diverse. She was experienced in the oil business, having worked herself into the position of Dispatch for several companies. She was a graduate of Notre Dame College and enjoyed athletic activities. She loved animals and was very skilled in Veterinary practices. Stacey had a strong sense of the value of caring for animals and those animals in need of rescue. Stacey valued her relationship with her siblings and friends. Her attitude was always positive and she often put others before herself. Each relationship Stacey shared, whether it was between her Mom, Dad, brother, sister, husband, or children was unique and special. Her husband Larry shared her love for animals, the farm, children, and family. The Active Pallbearers were Dan Knisley, Dave Saunders, Gilbert Baillargeon, Gage Milligan, Larry Coe, Rob Bannerman, and Tyler Lorenz. The interment was held in the Mervin Cemetery, Mervin, Saskatchewan. Lunch was held in the Livelong Community Hall following the interment.
